How this calculation works

A rectangular full-coverage design contains width × height × mesh² stitches. The selected coverage percentage reduces that count for open designs. Dividing by your measured stitches per hour gives working hours; dividing by weekly availability gives calendar weeks.

What to verify before buying or cutting

Time a representative session rather than using someone else’s speed. Decorative stitches, compensation, thread changes, learning time, blocking, and finishing are outside the stitch-only estimate.
