How this calculation works
The calculator first reconstructs the chart grid by multiplying the current physical dimensions by the current mesh. It then divides that unchanged stitch grid by the new mesh count.
What to verify before buying or cutting
The conversion preserves chart squares, not painted brush boundaries. Rounded starting dimensions, decorative stitches, and a hand-painted canvas may require redrawing or compensation.
